A day after the White House initial directive, following backlash, Trump's press secretary said aid flowing directly to individuals is exempt. But a lot of federal aid gets to individuals through states & school districts (that's how Congress designed those programs) #edtech
Trump proposed a "hold" on trillions of $ in federal aid yesterday, and bewilderment followed in the education community. Title I (supporting poor kids) and IDEA (for kids with special needs) spared for now, but no word on many other K-12 priorities. @edmarketbrief.bsky.social
