Dealing with those nightmares are no longer as horrific now Ryld is by his side. To ground him, to sooth the pain of his scar. To kiss away those tears. To pull him to the present and shelter him from the darkness. He would just cling to Ryld until it's time to get up.

So that's how he got his abs!

Every time he relives it, he always wakes up, tears running down his face and a burning, sharp pain where his jagged scar is on his side. The place he was stabbed. He can't help but feel his heart ache.

The weightlessness of falling into a mass grave pit. Left there to either bleed out slowly, or be eaten alive by the creatures that lurked there, frozen and unable to move. Being swallowed by darkness before hearing his name being uttered with such devotion. A wave of emotions hitting him-
