Anyway the more I learn the more I realize the art teachers were RIGHT about anime. Don’t get me wrong i 100% believe young/new artists should be encouraged to explore their passions through art! Its one of the best ways to get better imo because its the thing that actually-
Learning anatomy is cool but it also sucks bc I’ll be looking at my old art like wtf this is NOT anatomically correct 😭

Maybe a hot take but I genuinely don’t mind when artists post about non art stuff sometimes, i think it’s nice to see a little glimpse of the person behind the art. If I wanted to see their gallery exclusively I’d follow them on Deviantart or instagram.

SO this morning I discovered that I never actually clicked the “Go Live” button on Vgen so this entire time my commissions were just not on the sites marketplace. Thankfully I fixed it but still… I aM LE IDIOT 🥲

Be honest with me, is my art just not the same as it used to be? These past few years, I’ve been trying really hard to stay motivated to draw. I haven’t gotten steady commissions in well over 2 years, and my audience hasn’t grown either.

The real way to get better at drawing is to hyper fixate on something so hard that you make a metric shit ton of fanart for it. It’s 100% foolproof trust me
