Policies and politics are two different things. I.e.; one can support thoughtful policy solutions while still doing politics in a smart way. Winning is the point after all...

Do you remember Barack Obama opposing codifying same sex marriage in 2007? Probably not. Well he won, and signed into law countless laws and regs lifting up LGBTQ Americans. In all due respect -- it's time to grow up.
