The main thing I remember from my years of trying to get pregnant and experiencing pregnancy loss was that I usually had no idea wtf was going on and felt totally unprepared for all of it. This is helpful and good to share widely as the stakes keep getting higher.
People experiencing pregnancy loss in states with abortion bans told us they wished they had known what to expect and how to advocate for themselves.

We created this guide for anyone who finds themselves in the same position.

Happy Birthday Edward Gorey! I hope Ursula is still bugging, bothering, cajoling you in heaven to finish your book.

The Pitt (which I love) is like Mr. Rogers for desocialized adults (most of us?). “When someone dies, we take a minute. [show forces us, too, to take a minute].” Didactic mimetic sentimentalism is back and not a moment too soon.

I found this helpful and inspiring for some of the kinds of small actions I can take while just walking the dog around the neighborhood: thewhitepages.net/p/thirty-lon...
Thirty lonely but beautiful actions you can take right now which probably won't magically catalyze a mass movement against Trump but that are still wildly important
Why? Because others will see you do them, and it will make it easier for them to take their own (slightly less lonely but equally beautiful) action by your side

Increase library funding in the FY 2026 Budget and stop proposed cuts!
