We often use an SSTV demonstration if we're invited to host a radio activity session.
Use an FT817 as the Tx and a SDRPlay RSP1A as the Rx on different sides of the room.
People are always amazed when the picture appears at the other end, yet it's comparitively simple and reliable.

Sadly we can't do that this year but there should be a few hundred lighthouses being activated around the world

in the past we have activated former Light Vessel 56 now the Cabot Cruising Club's base of operation in Bathurst Basin in Bristol as #GB0CCC
Sadly we can't do that this year but there should be a few hundred lighthouses being activated around the world
