Little girl was patiently sitting in front of me on the floor whilst her brother snuggled on my lap.

Getting through the day so far by rewarding periods of solid focus on work with mini-breaks to look at better memories from this time of year.

Lol at my little dramatic princess! She is so much happier having her siblings back and not having to live at the foster anymore 😂❤️

Been sick with something for a couple days. Lots of really random symptoms. Just had a bout of vertigo with the walls spinning, so laying down. At least I have this guy on nursing duty!

Winter is coming. The little one now spends her nights cuddled up to me under the covers 🥰

Sometimes she’ll sleep under the covers and just have her wee little face sticking out, it’s so cute.

The baby was trying his hardest to convince me to simply crawl back into bed for more cuddles this morning rather than go to work.

Unfortunately, somebody needs to bring money home to buy more cat food…which he begrudgingly understands.

I have no way of knowing for sure if she’s there yet, but I hope my sweet Ophelia was there to guide his way through the rainbow pass.

And I’m discovering that 3 years is still not long enough to handle much time looking at all my photos of her beautiful face.

Sometimes there are rough days. Hard moments. Endless minutes where I have to survive being stripped raw and triggered in the worst ways because my children need a calm adult who lived through and survived the same horrors they did to listen to their trauma memories.

Then I lay by this guy.
