We've been having a busy summer, and I mostly live on tumblr, so I am not here often. But summer is coming to a close, which means dog sledding is around the corner. Fall training is beginning now! Maybe this year I will get to race!

I keep forgetting this place exists and I got another dog since the last time I posted 😅😅 This is Boomer the border collie. He is a good boy and fits in very well so far!

We went to the gravel pits on saturday for a romp. Rollei cannot be trusted off-leash, so he was on a homemade longline. Very handsome boy tho! He was the only one of the 3 dogs that wasn't pooped after. Endless energy, this guy.

When you're a sled dog born to run for miles every day, but your momey works a desk job. Echo's turn to accompany me to the office this time. She is pretty content to snooze next to me while I enter bills into QB 👍

Rollei did very well at the vet the other day and even made friends with her! Sometimes he can be nervous or defensive, but he was such a good boy that he got a cup of whipped cream on the way home.

Little Mouse is proving to be quite the character. We are super in love with her, and I really hope integration with the other animals goes well. She did meet Sprocket yesterday and was VERY spooked about it, but I think she will adjust.

Miss Mouse is doing very well. Vet appointment this afternoon. She is a super sweet little kitty. She also very much would like to escape the bathroom, but I cannot allow that yet. The other cats need a slow intro. I am gonna move her into my spare bedroom once I remove my office from it.

The strays and misfits keep finding me... This is Mouse. If she gets along with the other 2, she can stay 🤦‍♀️ I did say maybe I would get a 3rd cat, but I didn't mean right now!!

I tagged along for a free run last weekend. Sitting backward on a snowmobile is tougher than it looks!

Had to build Echo a straw bail house so I can leave her outside when I am not home. She commits too many crimes when left to her own devices and absolutely cannot tolerate being crated. I call it Chateau d'Echo ✨️

Oh, it's also important to update you guys on this situation. Puter initiated a snuggle with Echo last night, and it was the sweetest thing in the world. He has NEVER cuddled with one of the dogs before. He's 13.

Do y'all have opinions on paint colours you wanna share with me? Both colours are going in the same room with an accent wall on the window wall. The larger left side will be pink and the smaller right side the green. Having a hard time choosing. It's my hobby room/office.

Spent the day with some of my favourite humans and dogs yesterday and Echo got to run lead on a team! She was incredible and I am so proud of her. It was a perfect way to spend the day. #uglydogs

Took some photos the other day while helping out with tours. Very happy to be a part of the Church Kennels team 💙🐾

Echo's sled dog babies are over a year old now. Here they all are! First, it's the boys, Oreo, Louis, Olaf, and Lightning. Then the girls, Snickers, Betty, Sandy, and Baja. I love them all so much ❤️
