A non-exhaustive list of some very valid reasons to strength train and prioritize your nutrition:

- to be stronger than fascists
- to be able to help your disabled and elderly loved ones
- to build physical autonomy in the present and as you age
- to be harder to kill
- because lifting is fun

For my first BlueSky post, I thought I’d share my 1 kg PR deadlift / bedlift set from last night.

191 kg (421 lbs) x 6, nice and easy. Been hacking away at these. And yes, that’s my bed where I sleep.
