The part near the beginning of close encounters where you see the shadow of the ufo passing over Dreyfus’s car messed me up as a kid. I was paranoid of open skies at night because I could just imagine an alien thing watching me, unseen
Close Encounters is functionally a horror movie until the climax, at which point it suddenly transmutes into pure bliss, and somehow it works!

The original "Superman" movie theme still hits.
Having just watched all live action Superman movies in the past couple of months, I think this looks promising. I won’t be watching the full trailer bc I want to maximize surprise but I like the vibe of this. How they handle the Clark/Superman dynamic will be important to how I view it

Having just watched all live action Superman movies in the past couple of months, I think this looks promising. I won’t be watching the full trailer bc I want to maximize surprise but I like the vibe of this. How they handle the Clark/Superman dynamic will be important to how I view it
