Tokyo Jungle is such a cool game and it's such a shame the only (legitimate) way to play it is by already owning it on a PS3 or Vita.

Back home after roughly 16 hours of travel. To say this was an amazing trip would be an understatement. I'm so happy I got to spend as much time in Japan as I did, and hopefully it won't long before I visit again.

But I should really get some sleep before returning. 😅

I'm behind on posting more Hokkaido photos, but I've made it to Kyoto and I'm really happy with this photo I took today.

Went to another teamLab exhibit (Borderless),and it was, again, extremely my jam.
The art piece Universe of Water Particles on a Rock where People Gather. Projected "water" falls from the ceiling onto sculpted "rocks" and procedurally move/react with the surface of the floor along with any person who is standing in the water. In addition Japanese characters occasionally fall from the ceiling and touching one creates a new visual effect on the walls. Art piece depicting a field of lilypads. The room starts out completely dark before one of the wandering art pieces (the theme of the Borderless exhibit) enters the room and creates a projected flower garden on the left side lilypad Art piece Microcosmoses: Wobbling Light and Environmental Light. Orbs of light move around tracks like a big marble race contraption, reacting and changing colors bars on proximity to other orbs and people. Keeping with the arcade posts, made an impromptu trip to Kyoto to visit a-cho before it shuts down. Fighting games have been an important part of my life, so what better way to pay respects than sticking around until closing time? Also getting bodied by an E.Honda in SF6. Also a Baiken in Rev2.

TeamLab planets was so incredibly my jam
The floating flower garden exhibit at TeamLab planets. Hanging flowers rise and fall within the exhibit, creating pockets of space for people to walk though. Mirrors placed around the exhibit add some neat visual effects to the experience. A moss garden with sliver oviod like objects scattered through. You can push the ovoids over and they'll spring back up playing a resonating tone. At night the ovoids change colors. The Infinite Crystal Universe exhibit. Hundreds of light points are used to make three dimensional spaces. The color and tone of the lights is controlled by visitors using an app. Koi fish are projected on the surface of a shallow water pool. Bumping into a Koi causes it to explode into a splash of color.
