Israel has illegally occupied much of Palestine since 1967. A flag raising over a city that is home to thousands of Palestinian refugees fleeing Israel's occupation is hardly objectionable.

Frankly, the only thing that surprises me about this report is that it's getting so much media attention outside of the region. I'm glad because it's about time!
