No colorful pictures for me tonight, but the moon, stars, and clouds still made for a lovely night in the #CarsonValley #NorthernNevada

It’s hot 🥵 out there in Northern #Nevada but I (re)planted some roses, cleaned up some debris from recent wind storms, and admired my potatoes as they take over my vegetable bed. #CarsonValleyLife #GardenSky #GardeningFeed

May reads. I was hellbent on finishing a series, so Witchcraft for Wayward Girls stands out and was very interesting. Tower of Dawn was my favorite read of the month. #BookSky

I’m complaining about the snow because I worked hard setting up my spring garden last week. But it’s so nice to have a reasonable excuse to spend a lazy Saturday curled up with my cat, coffee, and a good book. #CarsonValleyLife

Years ago I laughed when Sheldon checked if vaccines were recommended for travel to a different part of Southern California. Today I got an MMR booster to prepare for an upcoming trip to Texas. #RealityToday

Between the disappearing of humans by the American government and the death of grandfather I’ve didn’t the last few weeks retreating; into work, into books, into sleep. It’s all too heavy. I spent the last two days putting my hands in dirt and planting pretty and tasty things.

@liarae.bsky.social and I got to speak to high schoolers about career opportunities in our school district. It’s important to get to know the aspirations of our youth, and to help them see all of the wild possibilities that exist. Schools don’t just employ teachers. #EduSky

One of my goals this year was to treat myself to some things I know I’ll enjoy. Tonight was Labyrinth, one of my favorite movies, with live music. It was amazing! Ah, the movie that created unhealthy relationship goals in an entire generation. 😝

Panhellenic Badge Day. 27 years ago I came home to the Eta Psi chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Valparaiso University. I was seeking friends but found a home away from home, some of my best friends, and grew leadership skills I didn’t know I would need. #BadgeDay25 #IWearABadge #ILoveThePin #wlfeo

7hrs of learning, inspiration, and discovering our impact. It seemed like a short day until it ended. I’m happily exhausted. And I can’t wait to dive into Alejandra Campoverdi’s First Gen. As a first gen myself so much of what she said rang true. #CISC25 #EduSky

Tucked or untucked? That is the question. I’ve never been good at dressing myself, and I’ve never tucked in blouses. But as I’m shrinking some of my clothes are just not looking right.

Frustrated by life, circumstances, the state, and technology today. Disappointed in myself. Bleak and bright contrast.
