As someone who grew up hearing stories of Soviet censorship, the idea of a TikTok ban hits too close to home. My family left for freedom, not this.

Now that TikTok is gone, it’s time to bring back MySpace and Tom. We were coding our profiles and ranking our friends—real skills, real drama. Simpler times.
