I’m laying in bed, reading. Sad, heartsick, furious, afraid. My daughter is kicking me. She’ll be born in February.

I just wanted to write things and raise my kids. Not fight my government while it tries to turn me into a second-class citizen, deports millions, and kills even more.

In true American fashion I can’t afford to be emotional, I have to work and pretend it’ll be okay when it is certainly not. I’m hoping my art brings others a tiny bit of light in spite of what the next four years will bring. 🫂
