Oh how cool. I think there should be a prioritisation of “excavating” Museum collections for precisely that reason (of course sites that are under threat of destruction too).

Heck I’d even wager that there are tons of artefacts just lying out in museum storage spaces that are not catalogued. Or that scholars even know exist.

/2 questions - I must admit - I had not considered. Sometimes what seems most mundane carries the most weight. The most value. It is humbling.

Great repost and so spot on about the importance of grading. Hard to grade at times but realising its engagement is comforting.

You bring up a great point. The buttons do def seem like they could fit in. But, at the end of the day, these kinds of acts are not helpful and are harmful to the image of the Liberal party.
