Just vibing & making random cosplays. It’s absolute chaos, but I make cool things.

I will also have my Nordic Armor (Banzaicon Best in show 2021) on display at my table.

My cosplay lineup is still not set in stone but I’m thinking it’ll be Black Water, Sukuna, and Morrigan

I will be also debuting a hybrid live demo/ PowerPoint info dump style of panel that weekend. Panels are usually one of my favorite parts of any weekend so I am super excited to try something new

Inspired by a beautiful vintage kimono I got to see in person (first pic), I decided to do the white pieces as appliqué with couched cording around the edges. It’s not actual goldwork threads but is similar enough for my purposes

I appreciate it! Currently it’s held together with safety pins because I’m procrastinating on closures. It’s the perfect time to change anything

It’s camera mirroring I think. I did have the right over the left with my temporary closures. I will double-check before I install the final ones

Finally got these finished enough to be able to do a spin (very happy that I went with a nearly full circle pattern for the skirt). I still have some hemming and clean up to do but I’m pleased so far

Plugging away at the skirt. The lining is FINALLY fully stitched and sewn to the fashion layer (via flatlining). I added the piping and sewed the trim on.

I still have to press everything and do a little hand sewing but then the two halves will be done and I can attach them

Made some piping out of 4-way stretch vinyl in a brownish wine color. Basted down the piping onto the collar seam allowance and then attached the actual collar. Now all that’s left is pressing seams and hand stitching down the back side

Currently at a relative’s house watching pets but I did get 75% of the 130 inches of Bediou’s trim stitched down. It’s definitely a little wonky in some spots but it’s deeply satisfying. So much better than the mass produced trim I was thinking of using
