Tbh, I used to regularly wear thoroughly deranged long skirts in bright colours, embroidered jeans, long flowing tops, cloaks, etc (not all at the same time) and never had an issue. 😆 It looks a bit brutal when everyone's giving their anecdotes but generally no-one's actually going to look twice.

Partner had a long black leather duster when he was in college in Cork. He got cat-called by a bunch of young lads with "OY, NEE-YO!"
