Also my favorite tidbit that got left on the cutting room floor from this one is that apparently there are libraries/catalogs full of meteorite samples that researchers can request samples from. 😱 So cool! I want to know more.

Fun fact that didn't make the cut for the story is that the air bubbles have different magnetic properties than the surrounding water! 🤯 So they can also be used for magnetic applications (MRI for example)
