Sarah Stewart Holland has been talking about this book on Pantsuit Politics for weeks and I'm 15 minutes in and I think this is the next book I was looking for.
My 13-year-old falls into most of the boy stereotypes. It's helpful to know I'm not alone in my hopes AND fears for him.

Oh I feel you. And I LOVED Oke books so much. My fantasy loving 15-year-old has no interest. Heartstopper is more her speed 😂 But at one point my mom bought me this book and I must have read it because it's shelves but I don't remember doing so.
