Currently very happily in Canada 🇨🇦 with them there Canadian relatives.
I bought 2 bottles of NyeTimber in duty free for my uncle. The Canadian border control guy asked what I'd bought & then asked
"What are you celebrating?"
Totally flummoxed me. "Erm seeing my family?" I spluttered out.

It's blardy freezing here this morning. My OH has gone to get the big quilt for me. 🥶 I feel as though the seasons have all shunted forward by 6 weeks or so. Im sure it didn't used to be so cold in August years ago.

Wide legged trousers are a bloody menace. I've just tripped over my trouser leg and splatted in the middle of the room, pulling a pushchair over on top of me as it was the only thing available to grab hold of. Thankfully, the grandchild was not inside the pushchair at the time. #Ouch

Bloody flippin heck. Car crash right outside our house. Massive crash. Car on its side. We ran out, & the ol fella ran to help the driver get out. Driver started to walk away, OH tried to stop him, then the driver's pal grabbed my OH from behind & pushed him down to the ground! Absolute shithouse.

I have a very exciting thing happening soon. My most favourite Uncle is coming over with my nephew (J) from Canada for a long-awaited visit. J will have his 11th birthday while they are here. J has never been out of Ontario, much less been on a plane. So this is a huge deal for him 😁

Big Girl & Grandaughter are on their way here for the night. I bloody adore these 2 people. GD is 16 months old with a personality as big as mine & her mum's. I am here for every second of it.
