I have booked myself in to a nice one bed flat near the RCJ for three nights next week, Tue 9th-Thur 11th Dec. However, the case I was going for has settled, and the fee is now non-refundable. Can anyone else use it? Cost me £695.

Has anyone on here ever used an electric hole punch for papers please? I'm still a big paper fan, and would like to speed up the process with an electric hole punch, but wonder if they actually help much or whether I should just get a heavy duty manual one?

I raised #Mazur today in Birmingham CC on a cost schedule with only a Grade D on running the case. The judge said they had just had an email from the Designated Circuit Judge on Fri that any cases relying on Mazur had to go to him for directions and hearing, because the implications were so serious.

Sweet & Maxwell are now apparently considering removing the Pre-Action Protocols from the White Book. Do they not know how the PAPs affect every aspect of a claim, not just pre-action but during and through costs at the end?! 😀
