Brilliant weekend of running. My twin, all the way over from Brisbane to complete her 50th #parkrun and then she joined me at Conwy half marathon my final race of the year where I got 3 medals for the races done. Conwy half; scouse Welsh double and the 4 Castles series. Loved all of them.

Another Plodders takeover at Heaton parkrun for a busy one. Over 900 runners this morning. If you’ve not volunteered yet sign up, it’s a lot of fun to give back. #parkrun

Definitely getting the autumnal feels this morning but not ready for leggings yet. Still in shorts until frosts.

I did the Caernarfon half marathon this morning and tried to go slow to avoid injury before the Lap next weekend which is the big race of the year for me. Wet and windy but really nice race and met lots of lovely runners on my way round. Race 2 of the 4 castles series completed

Great turnout for Heaton parkrun’s 16th birthday. Early start for me to do course check but gorgeous morning for a #parkrun if a little warm!

Last weekend of long runs before my 50km in 2 weeks. 9 miles on Saturday (with parkrun in the middle) and 18.5 miles yesterday (was meant to be 20 but I had to cut it short due to family commitments) was out early so got to see the wildlife Manchester has to offer. #running

Snowdonia half marathon you were beautiful but tough. I loved it. Congratulations to all the runners. The hills did not beat us! 💪

Went out this morning for my long run. Was super disciplined to keep my heart rate low for the whole run! Snowdonia half and Forest Hill I am ready for you! Afternoon has been watching the Cocodona250 live stream and tracking Jack Scott and Courtney Dauwalter #running

After missing out closely on my pb last week I was inspired by all the visiting Manchester marathoners to a definite PB starting with a 27. Somewhere between 27:39-27:46 is my prediction💪. Very happy parkrunner this morning! #parkrun

Cooler this weekend at parkrun which was perfect for a possible PB, still to be confirmed but the run felt good. And extra chocolate at the end which is also an added bonus. #parkrun

Another glorious day for parkrun. Tried to pace a friend to a PB but the heat had other ideas. She still did fantastic and the PB will come another day. #parkrun

Liverpool I made you harder than you needed to be. Never run a whole half marathon fasted before! Not intentional. Still managed sub 2:20 which I was happy with considering.

Beautiful morning for the unveiling of Damian Brooks’ bench at Heaton Park parkrun. It’s in pride of place at the race start as a tribute to all the years he gave to our parkrun. Managed a sub 29 minutes too. #parkrun

Glorious morning at Heaton Park for International Woman’s Day takeover by Prestwich Plodders at parkrun. First time pacing, hope I got it about right. My Garmin didn’t start immediately when I pressed go so I may be a couple of seconds out. I’ll have to wait for the results #parkrun
