Jajaja pensando en aquella vez que fui a la seguridad social y al mirar mi historial de vida se pensaban que estaba haciendo chanchullos porque yo profesora de universidad (asociada también) estaba dando jornales en el campo. Se piensan que vives como marajá.

In any case (leaving aside ALL OF IT), if they want you to take some sort of CPD to keep working with them, they should cover it and pay for the time you will need to spend doing so, instead of working on paid tasks.

I've also got that email from that agency. My first reaction was: if translators work for/collaborates to the agency, how is important that I know what to tell clients? They should be doing so. I take they have interest in you taking the course to then shove the AI down your throat.
