Cooking is weird.
Pasta: wet the dries; dry the wets; wet the dries; dust the wets.
Butter - buttercream: whisk the cream to make the butter; whisk the butter to make the buttercream.
And I'm sure there's a venn diagram between crumble, shortbread and pastry.
Any others?

This morning’s sunshine has reminded me of the word ‘philocaly’: a love of beauty, even in the smallest things.
I never did understand why my school reports said "Sarah is intelligent but is often distracted". Now I realise that I was doodling or looking out the window - my strategy to focus. Apparently that isn't what paying attention looks like...I did so much "wrong" growing up autistic & #ADHD #autism 🙄 🫡

I finally have an appointment for asd diagnosis! 🙌 If I - someone trains others in autism understanding and has worked in the sector for over 12 years - battles autistic imposter syndrome then it's ok if you do too. Self diagnosis is valid 👏 and it isn't a bloomin' fad or trend ♾️
