Rank and file CFMEU members have walked off the job in parts of QLD and rallied at the CFMEU branch office in Brisbane. A motion has been passed to stay off the jobs for 48 hours. #ausunions

Some thoughts on what next for the CFMEU.

Sydney Trains have made an application to have industrial action terminated under s424. FWC can suspend or terminate industrial action if it is either endangering life or causing “significant damage to the Australian economy or an important part of it”. Hearing at 5pm #ausunions

Apparently Sydney Trains are going to invoke s471 & not pay workers who participate in partial work bans. Possibly a lockout. Reminder: if you are inconvenienced by industrial action or a lockout - direct your frustrations to the bosses & the government! #ausunions
