Yesterday in Central Exeter a man stepped out to cross the one way road when there was a gap in the traffic. He was hit ( but fortunately not injured) by a young woman who was cycling in the opposite direction to the traffic. Why do so many cyclists think the Highway Code doesn’t apply to them?

So reading about Johnson’s incompetence today makes me super pleased we have Starmer. He might not make sexy headlines for the media. Or be a laugh a minute. But you’d never see him hiding in a fridge or not understanding what the country needs in a crisis.

The BBC is biased, but not to the left. The last few days Radio 4 has included numbers of migrants crossing the channel as part of their hourly bulletins. How is that news? No records broken, no milestone reached, just a running commentary. Not to mention the promotion of Farage in Question Time etc

I’ve just realised that I haven’t listened to BBC radio 4 routinely now for years. I stopped the news programmes including the today programme over a year ago when they became unashamed mouthpieces for Farage.
I was a lifelong radio 4 listener. I wonder how many others there are.
