Very cool to see a visitors’ book at the gorgeous Chirk Castle signed by Venetia Montague - also known as Venetia Stanley - “star” of the brilliant Precipice by @robertharrishome.bsky.social (yes, she appears to have visited with Clementine Churchill, wife of Winston…)

Great evening listening to @steveperryman.bsky.social a terrific speaker, talk about Spurs past & present. He explained the importance of a “real” captain among other things, sadly saying we don’t have one at Spurs these days. Def not a fan of Levy or Sugar! I even won a prize in the raffle…#COYS

I have lit a candle for Syunya Toibis, murdered for being Jewish, aged only 5.
And, as always, I think of my father’s family who were also killed in the Holocaust - my great-grandparents, great aunt and uncle, and their young son, Leon. #yellowcandle

I have never seen anything like this in my life. Politics and international trade as game show leaderboard…

This name is just too perfect - sounds like someone from a Monty Python sketch (it’s from a building in Rochester)

Need to be cheered up a bit (as we all do)? Do book for The Producers, which is transferring to the West End. It's brilliant, hilarious & the cast, esp @marcantolin.bsky.social Andy Nyman & Joanna Woodward are great. (What would @officialmelbrooks.bsky.social think of this content warning though?)

Thank you @yair-rosenberg.bsky.social @theatlantic.com. I'm amazed not to have read more on the propaganda & degeneracy behind all this. And I think many people/organisations have been played
As you say: "It requires a suspension of belief in humanity."

The list of most popular baby names in England & Wales always interests me because there are so many traditional names in the top 10. The boys' list is below, while top names for girls include Ava, Ivy and Florence, but also Willow (which seems pretty modern to me) www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula...

Just pointing out that £38 is not “under £20”!

13 seems a lot to me, and suggests a pattern…But is he saying they don’t count because they’re middle class? Or that we can’t trust middle class women “of a certain age”? Or that they are more sensitive? Just baffled.
