hilariously we just opened a Center for Sustainability, Energy and Climate lmao. So, hoping to partner with them on some future initiatives.

there is a small contingent of us at VU libraries that are planning some discussions on AI's environmental impact and ethics, since it very much feels like that is being ignored at our institution.

Overall, using AI improved the questions the students asked of historical documents and helped them analyze the documents more critically #SAA25

Students learned that AI needs really specific inquiries and also needs a framework like RICHRAB in which to analyze the historical documents

Once the AI started producing errors, students began correcting the AI tool and some stopped using it #SAA25

I keep seeing more and more queer acquaintances endorse this f*cker

i will also be going to the ONE Archives for the first time to look at some archives related to Nashville's LGBTQ history 😄
