Spent today in Durham, looking around Redhills. Always in awe of what the organised working class achieved here; people’s parliament, housing & healthcare for workers. If we want change, we must organise ourselves. No elected official (whatever colour tie they wear) will do it for us.

Busy few days at Convention of the North, devolution will only ever work if those who live, study and work across the North are closer to the decision making. Great to take a delegation from Citizens UK & secure commitments to do just that.
