She still doesn't have a shirt, but that's because Armorpaint decided to start crashing whenever I open the project so I took a detour to rigging/weight-painting

Armorpaint experience so far:

I still use material maker for the actual textures because i _really_ don't like how limited the armorpaint nodes are.

The painting experience is good though, I'll have to see how it goes with decals and similar, but for those I have no previous opinion[...]

I'm still generating normals from the mesh, so there's pretty obvious seamlines between chunks. I'll have to majorly overhaul the mesh generation system to also generate a normal (assuming i don't want to do 4 rather expensive samples for each point in the grid). Though I have to refa[...]

It's not even on a keyboard that's particularly easy to take apart, it's on my laptop keyboard...
let's hope i can find an actual fix before having to order a replacement part
