My dad’s side is the crafty one. He did paint by numbers, his mother painted on fabric, her sister was the knitter. I have something each of them made 🥰 they all died when I was young and my mother is not crafty at all, so I’m entirely self taught with knitting, crochet, x stitch and quilting. 🧶

I love garter stitch in thicker yarn 🧶 in things like blankets, it’s annoying in scarves though, stretches out too much.
