I may be a bit fanciful but I’m convinced that one of the reasons we love 🌳’s so much as a species (houses with + 🌳’s selling for a ⬆️ price) is b/c that’s where we came down from, & that affinity is still encoded in our nervous system. According to Time magazine (and they have to correct this every year) the person if the year isn’t meant to be an always-positive thing, it often isn’t. Time makes it clear that the person who influenced the news the most that year is what this title goes to. It’s not meant to be an award.

Oh…my gawd. I plead innocent Christian homeschooler in the 90’s. I didn’t even know what meth was. I once used “high” as a synonym for “elated” in Sunday school and I got such a laugh from the other kids and an explanation from a suddenly very awkward teacher.

That was a *beautiful* film. Masterful storytelling.

This scares me, tbh. It shows such fundamental disrespect and an othering of trans ppl in a very tangible way, such dehumanization that someone just bringing them up and advocating for them gets them arrested. Sounds like f*sc*sm to me.
