I have always sung the praises of the 80s PBS show Square One TV for its commitment to the importance of math education and entertainment. I still believe that it needs to be revived.

A new report shows 14% of North Americans still play on video games consoles released before the year 2000.
A similar number have listened to a cassette in the past year, with 11% still using a fax machine.
