It will increase discrimination, make services less inclusive, and lead to worse health outcomes.

Eight years ago today the Court of Appeal ruled in favour of @nationalaidstrust.bsky.social confirming that it was lawful for NHS #England to commission PrEP, the #HIV prevention drug.
More than 24,000 people went on to access PrEP through the IMPACT Trial, helping to reduce new HIV cases.

Sometimes it's difficult not to question if it was worth it moving to a country where you're blamed for every problem. Problems you have no voice in.
However, after more than 5 years in the #UK, I've also know the best side of this country, like the amazing people I'm lucky to work with:

We strongly oppose the inflammatory language that is being used in some media reporting to vilify people living with #HIV, and won’t stand by while harmful and stigmatising narratives are being used against our community.

Sometimes it's difficult not to question if it was worth it moving to a country where you're blamed for every problem. Problems you have no voice in.
