A benefit of low-level is that you have zero expectations of performing well, but as soon as you leave low-level there are expectations that are placed on you by either yourself, others, or both. If those expectations aren't met then you're met with backlash, again by yourself others or both.

stop shitting on people for enjoying less popular options. let people exist as they are
some of y'all need to learn how to not drag others down to your own level of cynicism when you talk to somebody who is more optimistic about a weapon/style than you. you'd be better off trying to meet them at their level instead. demanding they curb their enthusiasm is not a fair compromise
