Some pure nostalgia from a school project aged 5 in 1977
#oufc tangentially related story, years before he came involved with the club.
I thought it was a family urban myth that Dad had a run in with Maxwell in 1964.
But when reading Maxwell’s biography ‘Fall’ that my Dad’s role in this incident I realised that PC Tony Boyes, was the arresting officer.

I really liked Karl as the #oufc manager (save for the end of his tenure) but I can’t help but chuckle that we are doing to him with Negru what he did to us with Baldock.
