I've just enjoyed a very pleasant evening at Port of Leith Distillery. We tasted this year's new make spirit, two one year old spirits and a grain 'table whisky'. Slàinte!

All that remains of Jimmy Boyle's 100 ft monumental sculpture, the ‘Gentle Giant that Shares and Cares’, once the largest concrete sculpture in Europe, is one of the feet. Created in 1976, by the early 2000s it had fallen into disrepair & almost all of it was dismantled leaving this strange relic.
