I beat Dark Souls 1. I can’t believe it. I’ve never locked so hard into a game before.

Bring me the next Souls game. I love them now. They are my friends. I love the pain.

I wasn’t very knowledgeable about their work before this but I had the opportunity to see Blackpink at Wembley stadium last night. I was hit by a 2.5 hour concussion grenade that made me a Blink. Rosé, my first born children will be sacrificed at your altar.

Bellend behaviour. Often medical conditions are complex and require more time. To encourage medical staff to view complex patients as obstacles like this is despicable. Kier Starmer is despicable. Labour needs new leadership.

Gideon was behaving so badly this morning that a magpie I’ve never seen before landed on my balcony to yell at him.

I’ve been trying to watch 31 movies this month. I’ve been having a good time but I wasn’t expecting to totally fall in love with Ingrid Bergman the moment she came on screen in Casablanca.

Another Mother’s Day gone by without either of my ungrateful adult sons acknowledging it.

Attempting to exert mind control

Unfortunately for him the wizard that turned him into a cat did not allow him to process chocolate and thus I cannot give him any brownie. Oh dear. More for me.

My favourite part of cat ownership is when they spend days as a wet, pathetic beast up until you hand over all your life savings to the vet at which point they spontaneously become the happiest, most energetic creature you ever met.

Gideon’s been sick this week so I’ve been attendant to his every sigh, whimper, and bowel movement. Gigi has been rather starved of attention but certainly has been sensible about it and hasn’t taken any unreasonable actions like velcroing himself to my side every moment and screaming if I move.

Studio Ghibli Soot Sprite the Cat has thrown himself dramatically into my arms like a fainting Victorian and is stretching his little arms out. He was also crying but unfortunately this picture does not hold sound. He was upset because I had been tending to his brother and calling vets. After a hard day of checking in on Gideon and feeding him medicine, Studio Ghibli Soot Sprite the Cat insisted that I tuck him up in bed under my freshly laundered sheets and cried when Gideon - the cause of his dip in attention - got near him. I got cats because I thought they’d be less work than kids, I swear to god. I’m ready for parenthood now. Where are those nice femmes at.
