Note: I've felt this sort of hope at least five times since 2018 when the voters chose "make maps less gerrymandered" Multiple times since them the Republican controlled legislature has ignored, changed maps, and tried to retain their advantage.

The best way to "respond" to a bad take is not to mention the original take at all. It's to make a new statement that is actually true/that you want to magnify and share that instead. Its making a new story; building a stronger and more compelling narrative.

By the end of October the mosquitoes are all dead for the year and the sand flies and spiders are all dormant. Fall and winter are great times to visit.
