I just had to fight the urge to say, "Go, Birds" in my work meeting when my boss asked if there was anything else. I'm truly becoming a Philadelphian. PS - my office is in Seattle, so probably no one would have tracked it.

Seattle PD is a perfect example. The union runs SPD and the union is closely tied to local white nationalists. There's no fixing that.
You can’t fix this b/c the people in charge won’t ever allow it to be fixed and the cops themselves will not self fix (never mind its unions). “Police reform” will always be an impossibility, an outright lie & barely even a quarter-truth in this regard. “Good cops” cannot exist within this system.
If you’ve ever genuinely wondered why people don’t take “improve the police” as a serious answer.
