A fascinating read on the recent Supreme Court decision on RE in Northern Ireland, particularly the political dimension. It is convincing and realistic in terms of the proposed next steps. A must read!
A very interesting read, and I'm impressed that you put it together so quickly after the judgment! Here is my piece, with slightly more emphasis on political and media dimensions in addition to a legal analysis. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

This week’s Supreme Court decision means that we need to rethink religious education and worship in schools in all nations of the UK. The main takeaway of the judgment is that it underlines how parental opt outs will not excuse indoctrination: lawandreligionuk.com/2025/11/20/r...

An explicit prohibition on the promotion of creationism in Welsh schools is much needed, as demonstrated by the campaign of evangelism we helped expose at Llanidloes High School.

We’ve urged a Senedd committee looking at education reforms to back a ban.

Another reminder about the folly of using AI for legal research - it just makes stuff up!
Two federal judges admitted that their offices used artificial intelligence to draft factually inaccurate court documents that included fake quotes and fictional litigants, prompting a call for new regulations on AI use in federal courts.
Federal judges using AI filed court orders with false quotes, fake names
The head of the Senate Judiciary Committee blasted the two federal judges for the erroneous filings and called for new regulations on AI use in federal courts.

Extremely concerning report about Christian nationalism in Wales ⬇️
Reform councillor Francesca O’Brien chaired a meeting at which a Welsh far-right hate group spread ‘untrue’ claims about religious education, a Swansea primary school has claimed. The meeting centred on entirely unsubstantiated allegations that pupils had been forced to recite Islamic prayers.
