Here is how we found an air purifier in my Mom's LTC home this morning. It is in a seating area on her floor. They have often been off and we turn them on- today it also had to plugged in!

This little guy has kept the dogs out of the back yard for 5 days now. His parents are looking after him and make sure dogs know they are not welcome. Humans are tolerated- the parents make a lot of noise but they don't seem to swoop at me! I now know the very specific sounds of bluejays.

We have the inexpensive Ikea sensors-may not be the most accurate but works well for us to tell us when to close the windows for poor air quality and one inside tells us open windows/turn on exhaust fan because we burnt the toast. Our outdoor one has been at "red"all day. Didn't walk dogs today!

Health care for us or health care for pets all far too risky when it just doesn't have to be. Today at the vet C02 1931. Doors closed up no sign of a purifier or fresh air. No masks other than mine.

At McMaster hospital Hamilton it is making the masking at Toronto general look amazing (it was bad). So far not one masked health care worker.

We are at Toronto general right now cardiac centre my view. So so frustrating. ICU yesterday same.

Christmas is for the dogs here! 3 are loving the snow.

Outbreaks seem up in my community where there is very little testing. Local Hospital has 10 with Covid on one floor. Our Doctor no longer masks. Pharmacist asked husband who was masked for vaccine if he was sick. Really really tired of so few caring.

Furnace maintenance day. I can't get myself to ask technician to mask but many purifiers are on- windows open and windows will be wide open after he leaves. Seems easy but feel like I am the only one who does this stuff.

Visiting my Mom in LTC means taking both dogs every time and visiting many others too. So many love to see the dogs.
