Aerith is "Childish" so she definitely was not the "perfect type for Cloud" Claudia was referring to. It has to be Teeffa ... here is my analysis of why I believe Aerith fits Claudia's description just fine.

Queen!! The reason I play this game. Her witiness and dates with Cloud put a smile on my face. She is light. She brings out the best in others and finds joy in the world despite all she has been through. She reminds me to not take the time I spend with my loved ones for granted.

I get so emotional thinking about how his arc is about depression, loss and overcoming failure. I wish him happiness and healing. He is a character that many people can relate too and therefore has become an icon. Particularly for me his childhood arc of social isolation and not being understood.

We get just enough back story but I haven't developed an emotional attachment to his character. I do find his relationship and connection with Aerith in the Remake trilogy interesting to watch. I love his RedXIII voice.

Comes of annoying and as an inconvenience at first. She brings a lightness to the team and with Aerith gone in part three it would be a dull game without Yuffie. And she is pretty much the little annoying sister.
