Hobbies cost money. Nobody looks at Magic the Gathering players or Warhammer 40k players and think suspiciously wealthy gamers. It's when money is given to other people instead of corporations does the math change.

Furries have mutual enjoyment of the craft and with that comes mutual support.

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

Transcript Panel 1 August has just finished downloading a game that he's been looking forward to playing. Unfortunately, he also has to get to work so he doesn't have time to playing it right now. On his computer screen is the notice that the download is complete and an option to tip "15%", "30%", or "50%". August (thinking): I've been waiting for this game forever. I'll play it after work. Panel 2 It's later in the evening and August is making dinner. He's putting some onions in a pot and thinking about his new game.
