Every month we get a bunch of big sacks from An Post to put our newspapers in to deliver to the depot to be sent out to subscribers. Not infrequently someone else's post is left in the bottom of a sack or two. Here is this month's haul. 1/

Stock images used in DCC presentation planning PR campaigns to promote active travel and use of cycle lane (left), vs images of actual cycle infrastructure in the city. "Only 36% of respondents felt safe cycling in Dublin City". Hmmm.

The Irish Times is hiring for this job, Head of Data Architecture and Machine Learning, but I can't understand what it is and how it relates to running a newspaper. Can you explain it to me please? www.linkedin.com/redir/redire...

It's amazing to see the FF/FG government, faced with a challenge from the right, begin to emulate the Tories' response to a similar challenge from the right. How can they look at the current state of the UK, and of polling, and think, let's do that, that'll work out well for the country, and for us?

Looks like the anti-immigrant crowd are trying to organise a riot based on the reports that a man raped a 10-year-old girl at CityWest. Looks farcical atm, but who knows how it'll develop. 1/

Just reading an academic paper and it has this disclosure at the end, which I thought was interesting, first time I've encountered it.

I made a map of development in the Liberties, including hotels and student accommodation, and new apartment complexes. What did I miss?

From mountain of commercially illegally dumped costruction and household waste, to neighbourhood park. There's a huge transformation going on in a north Dublin neighbourhood. (File photo from before cleanup started.)

This is bad of course, but also awfully ungrateful on Trumps part -- this is the thanks Comey gets for getting him elected in 2016 is it?

Find myself thinking this a lot lately.
