there is a happy medium to strike: somewhere between a subtle arrogance and a somber humility. post-2020 and the Black Studies Inc. moment in the Canadian uni, i'm finding this is a difficult balance to strike when the institution comes calling telling our colleagues they are indeed the chosen Black

Q: There are many people who fit the criteria of fleeing persecution. Afghans for example. But they're being denied refugee status. So why such an exception for the Afrikaners?

The word migration is too puny a word to fully capture what is really at stake when, why & where people move. Migration truncates “human” capacity & inevitability. No laws, technologies nor brutalities can end the activity they have decided to call migration. People will continue to be on the move.
