Take it a step farther. Post tenure. I interviewed at a uni that still didn’t have it. But that is an outlier. It would play a role on work expectations outside of promotion.

It sounds like winning. Review tenure requirements and how much input faculty have at both.

That’s all more than fair. I’m considering it simply because some of the texts I use don’t seem to be in the hive mind yet. As a result a lot of AI responses are related to the question but wrong.
