Human-Wildlife Interactions: My grandfather and his buddies sneak onto the New Orlean’s City Park golf course at 4 AM every day and play with light up balls until the sun comes up.

Today gramps couldn’t get to his bag bc of the “fairway lizard”which I take is a relatively common occurrence.

🧪🌎 I study how interacting disturbances (fire+deer+treefall gaps, etc.) change ecological communities & try to figure out how we can best prepare forests for increasing disturbances with climate change.

Why do I do this? Bc climate adaptation & preparedness are the future!

I want to stress: Over 150,000 acres of the most profitable School Trust lands are *within* reservation boundaries and Tribes have not gotten a cut in over 150 years. Minnesota needs to pay back Tribes and return land, among many other actions.
