This isn’t the Alpine Route across the center of the country, is it? Even if not, it looks so much like the adventure we had on a vacation there a few years ago. Our family is VERY transit curious whenever we travel and Japan did not disappoint!

Though I always prefer the empty bike lanes over car gridlock, it makes me happy when there are so many people on bikes. Great to see the infrastructure in use & strength in numbers makes us all safer. Happy to put up with some of this kind of traffic.
